Login to names.aol.com by using primary or master screen name
Enter security question answer
Select the screen name and delete it

Note: You can recover a deleted screen name within six months.

Note: By default you cannot delete the primary or master screen name, if some how you are able to delete then you need to contact AOL, as you will not able to use the AOL account.

Click Settings icon at the top of AOL application
Click View Index Tab and click Browser Settings link
Under Temporary Internet Files section click General
Tab and then click Delete Cookies, click Ok
Under General Tab click Delete Files, check the box Delete all Offline Content, click Ok
Under General Tab click Settings button and select Every Visit to the page and then click Ok
Under Privacy Tab click Advanced button
Check the box Override Automatic Cookie Handling Ensure First party Cookies but is set to accept, click Ok
Select AOL Browser tab Under Top Speed AOL Broswer Accelarator, click Do not Store Web pages button, click Apply then Ok
